Sonja’s presented on Value creation models for IP, how to align IP strategy with business strategy and how IP strategy can keep up with constant changes. We had an engaging session with a lot of comments and questions from the audience who asked about SEP Licensing and royalty determination.
While in Singapore, Sonja also visited various convention sites, hotel accommodations and social event locations that were being considered for the LESI Annual Conference 2025 to be held in Singapore from 27 – 29 April 2025.
Sonja also joined the LES Singapore members for a traditional “Salad Tossing” or “Lo Hei” celebration to welcome the Lunar New Year.
“Lo Hei” is a tradition in Singapore and Malaysia, and one of the highlights during Lunar New Year, where family and friends come together to “toss up a good fortune”. Thinly sliced fish missed with shredded vegetables, seasonings and condiments are added one by one in a specific order. An auspicious phrase is recited with each added ingredient. The “salad” is then tossed by all shouting auspicious phrases for good luck, good health and prosperity for the coming year!
