LES Singapore and Questel joint seminar on IP Commercialisation – Tuesday 10 Sep 2019
LES Singapore and Questel held a joint seminar on the evening of Tuesday 10 Sep 2019. There was a panel discussion on the topic of Intellectual Property Commercialisation, with Anna Fong, Head of IP Consulting & Services, Jeferson Staelens, Legal Tech Product Manager of Questel Singapore and Lionel Tan, President LES Singapore. The panel shared their views on the key issues such as assessing the potential of a company’s IP, strengthening an IP portfolio, deciding on the best mode of commercialization and managing negotiations and contracts. Key concepts such as assertive licensing and carrot licensing were discussed together with strategies to adopt in maximizing IP commercialisation efforts. After the panel discussion, the audience networked over glasses of French wine and platters of cheese and canapes to round off an engaging event.
