From Innovation to Impact: IP Commercialisation in Healthcare and MedTech | Singapore IP Week 2026, 9 September 2026

It only takes a spark to get the conversation going and at IP Week 2026, that spark ignited a powerful dialogue on how IP licensing and having a multi-prong approach towards innovations in a connected ecosystem can accelerate commercialization in healthcare and medtech industries.

Highlights:

  • That spark was carried forward by Dr Ken Simpson, with the concept that the unit of innovation in healthcare/medtech being increasingly a connected care system in an ecosystem, and sharing of insightful strategies for commercialization of such innovations.
