30th March 2023 - Getting to know new WIPO Singapore Office Director, Ms Thitapha Wattanapruttipaisan

This March, we want to celebrate International Women’s Day by recognising the social, economic, cultural and political contributions and achievements of women all over the world. The theme adopted by UN Women for 2023 is “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality (https://www.unwomen.org/en/news-stories/in-focus/2023/03/in-focus-international-womens-day). Indeed, there is much which can be done to support the advancement of women in this digital age. The World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) is a wonderful example of an organisation committed to drive greater diversity and equity through its policies and programs.

To commemorate International Women’s Day 2023, IPOS Society and the Licensing Executives Society (Singapore) are honoured to host a joint event for our members and friends to meet and get to know the new Director of World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO Singapore Office, Ms. Thitapha Wattanapruttipaisan. Come join us for an evening with Ms Thitapha who will provide us with insights on global efforts made to bridge gender gaps, as well as her journey and experiences in her career.
