Joint Event with RSM – Wednesday 23 October 2019
A joint seminar with the accounting firm RSM Stone Forest was held on Wednesday 23 October 2019 on the topic of “Valuation of Intellectual Property”. At this seminar, Mr Terence Ang, Partner of RSM and Treasurer of LES Singapore shared with the audience on what constitutes intangible assets and how the net value of many major companies are created from their brand valuation. He explained the various myths and misconceptions about IP valuation and took the audience through the 3 main methods of valuing IP and the strengths and limitations of each method. The seminar was followed by an engaging round of networking and discussions over crafted beer and pizza!
