Cairan He is a familiar face to LES Singapore. He has been a Member of Executive Committee of the society for close to 3 years and also served as Chair for its Young Member Committee. Cairan recently took on another role as Vice Chair of Industry University Government Transactions Committee (IUGT) of LES International. Cairan has remarkable track record in managing society and events. He was the Co-founder and President for Biotech Connection Singapore (BCS), the largest non-profit platform in Singapore for life science entrepreneurs. During his management, the BCS’ membership has increased 100 folds (from 20 to over 2,000).
Cairan is a current Senior Manager at Industry Liaison Office National University of Singapore where he manages intellectual property in the Biotech and MedTech disciplines. Prior to that, Cairan worked as Industry Development Manager for Institute of Microelectronics A*STAR.
Cairan obtained his Bachelor (electrical and electronic engineering) and PhD (semiconductor) from Imperial College London. He is also a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP).
