
Tim is a Deputy Manager at Singapore Polytechnic’s Department for Technology, Innovation & Enterprise, where he drives intellectual property strategy, licensing, and technology commercialisation. He has successfully facilitated multiple licensing agreements, strengthened SP’s IP portfolio, and delivered valuation and negotiation strategies that create measurable impact for industry partners.
With prior experience at NUHS and IPI Singapore, Tim has built deep expertise across technology transfer, IP management, and innovation partnerships. He has supported the commercialisation of healthcare innovations, conducted technology scouting and prior art searches, and advised organisations on leveraging IP to accelerate growth.
Tim holds a Master’s in IP and Innovation Management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Nanyang Technological University(NTU). He is also a Certified Patent Valuation Analyst (CPVA) and a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and continuous learning in the IP field.
