Tim Ang

Tim is currently Lead Executive at the Department for Technology, Innovation and Enterprise, Singapore Polytechnic (SP). He manages the IP protection and commercialisation of the School’s innovations. Prior to joining SP, he was a Senior Executive at Innovation Transfer Office, NUHS, assisting with the IP Management and commercialisation of the hospital’s innovation.

He also used to be an Associate at Intellectual Property Intermediary Singapore (IPI Singapore), assisting with technology offers, prior art searches and technology scouting based on the client’s technology needs,

Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a certified patent valuation analyst (CPVA).
